ABOUT US
Noir Black Chamber of Commerce Inc. is a unique 501(c)(3) Economic Development Entity and certified Community Development Entity (CDE) under the U.S. Department of the Treasury's CDFI Fund. We are the only chamber of commerce in the United States specifically dedicated to serving Black youth ages 9 to 24, and proudly stands as Kentucky’s only Black Chamber of Commerce. We are guided by our mission “Moving Black America Forward”, through the development of innovative programming designed to foster economic and social mobility for Black Americans. Our flagship initiative is the establishment of Noir Black Business Clubs (Noirbbc Clubs) on college campuses nationwide, along with onboarding both college-attending and non-college Black youth ages 18–24 onto the Noirbbc Clubs App 18–24 to engage in free online education, professional skills training, corporate placement opportunities, and mentorship from Black professionals. The ultimate goal is to increase the number of successful Black entrepreneurs, skilled workers, and corporate professionals over time.

Business Therapy Counseling
This innovative offering provides budding entrepreneurs and business owners with one-on-one support through Business Therapy Counseling—also known as Businesses Need Therapy Counseling. This specialized coaching and advisory program is designed for those seeking clarity, strategy, and support while navigating the complexities of starting, growing, or sustaining a business. Led by John Shaw-Woo, Founder and CEO of Noir Black Chamber of Commerce, Noir Lending, Noir Realty, and several other ventures, the program offers paid 30-minute, 60-minute, and 90-minute sessions tailored to deliver personalized, solution-focused guidance. This unique service provides a confidential space where business leaders can openly discuss challenges, explore new ideas, and receive expert insight on key areas such as funding, marketing, operations, and scaling. Ideal for startup founders, small business owners, and aspiring entrepreneurs, the program helps clients relieve stress, gain strategic direction, and develop actionable plans for long-term success. It’s not traditional therapy—it’s real business insight, grounded in lived experience and delivered with purpose.

Noir Black Business Clubs
Noir Black Business Clubs (Noirbbc Clubs) is a national initiative of the Noir Black Chamber of Commerce Inc. As the only U.S. chamber of commerce focused specifically on Black youth ages 9 to 24, the Chamber is committed to empowering our next Black generations through a strategic four-phase approach designed to create a full pipeline of support from early education through young adulthood.
Members enjoy a wide range of benefits, including hands-on business training, professional skills development, mentorship from Black entrepreneurs and executives, corporate career networking, and direct access to entrepreneurial pathways.
Phase I
Focuses on the rapid expansion of Noirbbc Clubs on college campuses across the country, while also engaging college and non-college Black youth (ages 18 to 24) through free online educational programming via the Noirbbc Clubs App 18–24.
Phase II
Establish a Noirbbc Clubs High School Chapter in every major U.S. city.
Phase III will expand the initiative to include Noirbbc Clubs Middle School Chapters.
Phase III
Introduce Noirbbc Clubs Elementary School Chapters, completing the full developmental pipeline.
These student-led clubs are designed to equip Black youth with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to thrive in business and professional spaces. This initiative reflects the Chamber’s deep commitment to cultivating the next generation of Black leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers.

a growing grassroots platform created to uplift, support, and showcase emerging Black music artists.
